Read and discover, simply.

This page describes the features the site uses during your visit and the limits of those choices.

What the site uses

quebec.christmas is a site for reading and exploring. It offers no accounts, contact forms or newsletter subscriptions. It includes no audience analytics or advertising trackers. The site does not set cookies or keep your choices in your browser’s local storage.

Interactions such as opening the menu or filtering outing ideas only change the content shown during your visit. They do not create a visitor profile. Fonts are served with the site’s files; displaying them does not require a request to an external font service.

The planner and the little joys

The planner form asks only for the time available, your company, your preferred setting and your pace. It asks for no name, address or email. Your plan is composed in your browser, without sending the form choices or saving them in local or session storage.

You can choose to share your plan. The link contains only four nonpersonal parameters: temps, compagnie, cadre and rythme. Anyone who receives the link can read those choices and open the same plan. As with any page address, those parameters may accompany the technical request for the page.

Sharing uses your browser’s features or lets you copy the link. The site does not access your address book or send a message on your behalf. Printing also uses your browser’s features.

Opening the windows of the 24 little joys creates no tracking calendar or history stored by the site. “Surprise me” chooses an idea in your browser. A direct link to an idea adds only its number, such as #idee-4, to the calendar address. You can share that link or switch languages to open the same idea, without identifying yourself.

Links to other sites

The guide links to tourism and organizer websites to help you prepare your outings. When you follow a link, you leave quebec.christmas. The destination site may use its own cookies, forms and measurement tools. Read its privacy policy to learn about its practices.

Page requests and hosting

Displaying a page requires a request to the site’s hosting system. Technical logs may be created there, including information based on your IP address and details sent by your browser. This site does not manage those logs, and this page does not specify how they are retained.

These explanations concern the site’s features. They do not guarantee that no technical data will be processed by the systems that deliver its pages.
