Saguenay European Christmas MarketDates and visitor information
December 3–6 and 10–13, 2026
Saguenay’s European Christmas Market takes the form of a village of 32 wooden cabins around a large Christmas tree. Craftspeople, regional products, gift ideas, music and mulled wine make up the market. In Chicoutimi, it takes place at Place du Citoyen, 155 rue Racine Est.
For its 11th edition, the market opens December 3–6 and 10–13, 2026. It does not open December 7–9.
Explore by craft or by regional food
The chalets bring together artisan creations and regional products, appealing both to visitors looking for gifts and those interested in local food.
Children’s entertainment, performances, tastings, demonstrations and illuminations are also announced. The organizer also describes choirs and visits with Santa, without specifying times for these activities.
